Letters: Writer says George's Auto is an asset to the community |
On Sept. 19, I was stranded in Crescent City with a busted radiator. By chance, I found George's Auto. It has been just over a month and I have forgotten the names of the people who helped me, but they were great. My wife had asked me for the worst-case scenario. I told her $1,200 and three days in Crescent City. Four hours and at less than 20 percent of my estimate, we were on our way. The crew at George's went the extra mile for us. They saw the Colorado plates and could have taken advantage of the situation. They made us feel like friends, and made our misfortune their priority. George's Auto is an asset to your community, and we will be back to spend time in your city, because of them. Ric Miller Fairplay, CO |
