Letters: Vote for Mattz for Yurok Tribal Council

I am writing this letter on behalf of Yurok Tribal Council North District candidate Jack Mattz. I have had the distinct pleasure and honor to get to know Jack Mattz during my time as executive director serving the Yurok people. It was during that time and in communications since, that I have been thoroughly impressed with Jack's commitment to do what is right for the Yurok people coupled with a desire to serve in any capacity available to him to make the lives of Yurok people better.

I believe Jack's heart is in the right place and his mind is open to receiving ideas and input from people that have divergent view points on the best way to provide for the Yurok people. I wholeheartedly believe that Jack will take his duties as North District Council member seriously and ultimately make decisions that are in the North District's and the tribe's best interests.

Because of these attributes I wholeheartedly endorse my friend Jack Mattz for North District Council member.
