Letters: Clothing/food giveawaynot fair to caregivers

I went to the free clothing/free food place. There are a lot of people out there who are disappointed with the way it is run. And I was one.

I asked for some things for my husband, who is unable to go out since his stroke he is unable to stand for too long and they refused to let me take anything home to him. I take care of him. I think that stinks. The person who needs things must be there to accept them.

Do you think they know what it's like to go without? Who runs this place?

Open your heart. There are people that can't get out. Let's have a clothing day for them; a representative can come and get the stuff.
