Obituary: Alva Louise Lane

Alva Louise Lane passed away May 28, 2009.

Louise lived in Crescent City the majority of her life working in the mills, hotels and laundry. She left Crescent City and lived in Washington, Redding and, ultimately, Oregon, where she passed. There will be no services, but donations can be made to the American Cancer Society. Everyone who met her loved her. She had a great sense of humor, a quick wit and will be truly missed.

She is survived by daughters, Janet Young, Oakland, Ore. and Elaine Wilson, Klamath; brothers, Harold Loveland of Anderson, Calif.; Gail Loveland of Central Point, Ore., and Loren Loveland of Albany, Ore. She also has 5 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

There will be no services.
