• David Niehoff, 75, of Crescent City, died May 19, 2009, at his home.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1230 Blackwell Lane, Crescent City. Cremation was under direction of Redwood Memorial Care.

• Lucille Schlack Ralston, 91, died May 30, 2009, in Crescent City. The 60-year resident of Del Norte County was born Nov. 3, 1917, in Wisner, Neb.

Services are pending; a full obituary will appear at a later date. Contributions may be made in Lucille’s memory to the Del Norte Senior Center, 1765 Northcrest Drive, Crescent City, CA 95531. Arrangements by Wier’s Mortuary Chapel of Crescent City.
