Obituary: Donna M. Klingebiel (June 3,1941 - June 10, 2009)

Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on June 27 at His Church, 1719 Cedar Street in Forest Grove, Ore.

Donna was born on June 1941, in San Diego, Calif. She was one of six children born to Don and Signe (Sohn) Kuehni. She was raised and received her education in San Diego and attended San Diego State University. Donna graduated with the Class of 1965 with a Bachelor’s degree in teaching.

She was united in marriage to Donald Klingebiel on June 30, 1963 in San Diego, Calif. The majority of their years were spent in Crescent City until 1992 when they moved to Forest Grove where they have lived since.

Donna was an elementary school teacher while living in Crescent City. Upon moving to Oregon she had worked for West Quality Child Care. Among her interests, she enjoyed cooking, bowling and reading.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years; four children, Dede Whitehurst of Willits; Darlene Ndirangu of Seattle, Wash.; Daniel Klingebiel of St. Louis, Mo.; Dustin Klingebiel of Aloha, Ore.; five siblings; six grandchildren and one great-grandson.

The family suggests donations placed in Donna's name to Alzheimer's Research
