Motorcyclist injured on 101 |
A Costa Mesa motorcyclist was injured after driving his bike into the back of a car south of Redwood Drive on U.S. Highway 101 on Wednesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol. Douglas Moody, 48, was transported to Sutter Coast Hospital, where he was treated and released, a hospital official said Thursday. Moody was following a 2006 Nissan Altima on his 2009 Harley Davidson on U.S. Hwy. 101 when the collision occurred, the CHP said. Moody drove into the back of the Altima, which was driven by Nancy McAninch, 76 of Salida, Colo., causing him to be thrown into a ditch, the CHP reported. McAninch and her passenger, William McAninch, 80, were not injured, the report said. |
