Little League All-Stars win tourney

Photo courtesy of Brooke Davis The local team of 13- and 14-year-olds defeated Redwood Empire in the championship game of the two-day tournament, 11-0. Camryn Ridgley pitched well in the final game, striking out nine batters. Amber Babbitt led off with a single in the 5th inning that started a 6-run rally. Samantha Bausch hit a double that brought in 2 runs. Chandler Davis went 4 for 4, scoring 3 runs in the decisive victory. The girls now move on to Section play in Chico on July 18. |
