• Henry “Hank” C. Grimes, 85, died in Crescent City on July 1, 2009. The 57-year resident of Del Norte County was born in Tahlequah, Okla., on Dec. 20, 1923.
Private services have been conducted by Wier’s Mortuary Chapel of Crescent City. • Olympia Rodgers, 97, died July 5, 2009, in Athens, Ga. The former longtime Crescent City resident was born July 28, 1911, in Crescent City. Graveside services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at the family plot at Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Crescent City. Contributions in her memory can be made to the Del Norte Senior Center, 1765 Northcrest Drive, Crescent City, CA 95531. Arrangements by Wier’s Mortuary Chapel of Crescent City. • Ronald Dean Senior, 52, died July 3, 2009, in Crescent City. The 20-year resident of Del Norte County was born March 25, 1957, in Burbank. Contributions may be made in Ronald’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 1301 Northcrest Drive, Crescent City, CA 95531. Memorial services will be held Thursday at 4 p.m. at the Church of God of Prophecy, 900 N. Butte St., Crescent City. Arrangements by Wier’s Mortuary Chapel of Crescent City. |
