Obituary: Lisa Lanell Gelfuso (May 22, 1951 - July 18, 2009)

Lisa Lanell Gelfuso, 58, passed away on July 18, 2009 in Crescent City. She was born on May 22, 1951 in Los Angeles. Lisa was a 19 year resident of Del Norte County. Lisa loved and enjoyed her work as a respiratory therapist. She loved making quilts and giving them to the special people in her life. Lisa liked traveling and was an avid horse rider who loved her animals very much.

Lisa is survived by her hus-band, John Gelfuso of Crescent City; step- daughter, Kim Antonia of Rhode Island;  brother, John Lennox and his wife, Lorena; niece Nicole Lennox and nephew, Michael Lennox all of Los Angeles; dear friends, Marilyn and Jim Turner of Gold Beach, Ore.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Lyn Lennox and grandmother, Martha Culver.

The family requests contributions be made in Lisa’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 1301 Northcrest Drive, Crescent City, CA 95531.

No services are to be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Wier’s Mortuary Chapel of Crescent City.
