Driving for Health Care golf tourney in August

The Driving For Health Care 2009 golf tournament will be held in August.

The event is set for Aug. 15 at Del Norte Golf Course, located at 130 Club Drive in Crescent City. Registration begins at 7 a.m., with tee-off scheduled for 9 a.m.

The cost to take part is $125 per person or $500 per team (foursome).

The tournament is presented by the Elk Valley Rancheria, with proceeds going to the the Wild Rivers Community Foundation.
