Local sisters advance to nationals
 Cierra Medrano  Cadence Medrano Cierra was chosen as the North California Sweetheart. She also won the prettiest hair category. Cadence won first runner-up. She also won Miss Photogenic, Miss Model, Miss Personality and Miss Spirit. The girls’ parents are Gabriel and Teira Barrera of Crescent City. They would like to recognize their daughters’ sponsors: Lucky Seven Casino (four-year sponsor); Paul Critz at Photique; Del Norte Disposal (two-year sponsor); Joe’s Chevron; The Mailroom; the Finigans; Brandon Bieber; all the workers at the Del Norte road department; the early morning fisherman at the Brookings Apple Peddler; and friends and family. |
