Obituary: John Eldon Leslie (July 16, 1949 - Aug 6, 2009)
John Eldon Leslie a life- long resident of Del Norte County, passed away on August 6, 2009, in Crescent City. He was born on July 16, 1949, and lived in the Crescent City and Klamath area his whole life.
John and his wife Priscilla Diane Leslie were married for over 30 years, until Diane passed away in 2003. John was in a car accident a few years ago and was in poor health. John Luther Leslie, his son, cared for him since Diane passed away. John was very proud of his son. He also loved to spend time with his granddaughter Priscilla Diane Leslie. He is survived by his son John Luther Leslie, daughter Sommer Leanne Leslie, granddaughter Priscilla Diane Leslie; brother Manuel Smith and sister Jewel Nelson. A celebration of life service will be held at the family home at 1040 J Street, Crescent City, on Saturday, August 22, 2009, at 3 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Wier’s Mortuary Chapel of Crescent City.
