Gregory Anthony Calabretta passed away on September 5, 2009, in Crescent City. He was born on February 7, 1925, in Santa Clara. Gregory was a six-year resident of Del Norte County. He served with the U,S. Army during WW II. A teamster truck driver, he retired after 30 years. Gregory loved fishing and gardening.
He is survived by son, Richard and wife, Terre Calabretta of Morgan Hill, Calif.; their children, Andrea Calabretta and Richard Calabretta, Jr.; and great-granddaughter, Faith; son, Ronald and wife, Diana Calabretta of Crescent City; their children, Michael Rodriguez, Shannon nd Randy Testernan; and great-grandchildren Tommy, Jayden and Tristian; sister Josephine Ciolino of Vacaville, Calif.; and numerous other relatives. Graveside services will be held at Patterson District Cemetery, 10800 Hwy. 33, Patterson, Calif. on Wednesday, September 9th at 1:00 P.M. Arrangements are under the direction of Wier’s Mortuary Chapel of Crescent City, CA.
