Warrior soccer teams fall in season openers
 Del Norte High boys goalie Scottie Skeen makes a save against Eureka at home on Wednesday. The Daily Triplicate/Bryant Anderson The Warrior boys lost 3-0 while the girls fell 5-0. Boys co-coach A.J. Myer-Zlokovich said the team did not seem in sync and let the Loggers get too many shot chances. He commended goalkeeper Scottie Skeen for his top-notch play. “He was an animal,” he said, adding that Skeen saved numerous shots on goal and the score would have been much higher without him.

The game is set for 4 p.m on Monday. A junior varsity game will be played at 6 p.m. The boys next play against St. Bernard’s at home on Wednesday. The girls also play the Crusaders at home. Both games are at 5 p.m. |
