DNHS volleyball team at Red Bluff tourney

The Del Norte High girls volleyball team took part in a tournament in Red Bluff Friday night.

Del Norte went 1-3 in their pool. The squad lost to Durham in the first game, defeated Chester and lost to Foothill in the third contest.

The team will continue play in the tourney today.

“We’ve just got to compete better,” co-coach Pablo Lorenzi said. “We have some real highs where we really compete and do the things we’re supposed to do and then we fall into a lull and let somebody get five or six points on us. So we’ve got to stop that and limit the runs other teams are having.”
