DNYF hosts first home games of the year Sun.

Photo courtesy of Roger Schultz A highlight occurred in the AAA game when Del Norte came back for a dramatic 18-12 victory over Fortuna. With Del Norte trailing, quarterback Aaron Fitch scrambled and found a target in Jordan Carpenter. He caught the ball and was able to run into the endzone with no time left on the clock for the victory. The AA Gold team for Del Norte had a good outing, downing Fortuna 14-6. Jonathan Vargas had two interceptions for Del Norte. The DNYF Gold A team lost to the ERV Blue team 12-6, while the A White team also fell 12-6 to Fortuna. The A Blue team lost to Southern Humboldt 28-0.
