Obituary: Brooke Ruyle (July 26, 1983 - Sept. 29, 2009)
Brooke Ruyle, 26, passed away on September 29, 2009, in Crescent City. She was born on July 26, 1983, and was a life long resident of Del Norte County, making her home in Crescent City. Brooke was a student at College of the Redwoods. She graduated from high school with the class of 2002.
She is survived by her daughter, Danica Ruyle; mother and father, Lani Crockett and Don Crockett and John Ruyle; siblings, Tara and Sal Williams, Victoria Crockett, Leilani Crockett, Lily Crockett Mahlanya Crockett, Nadianna Crockett, Jessie Ruyle and Angie Ruyle; grandparents, Boyd and Louise Smith and Joyce and Davy Crockett; aunts and uncles, Kelly and Duane Wabanaba, Linda, Becky and her husband, Jim, Margaret and Liz Crockett; cousins, Taylor, Mason and Ransom Wabanaba, David and Cindy Villeux and nieces and nephews, David, Brooke and Sal Jr. Williams. Funeral Services will be held at the Foursquare Gospel Church on Saturday, October 3 at 10:00 a.m. with private interment at the Smith River District Cemetery, Smith River.
