Former Warrior Rook scores TD for Knights

Former Del Norte High standout Trevor Rook scored a touchdown for Shasta College in a win over College of the Redwoods of Eureka on Saturday in Redding. Rook, a sophomore running back, scored when the ball was fumbled on the 1-yard line and rolled into the end zone. Rook fell on the ball for a touchdown near the end of the first quarter. Rook finished with 16 yards rushing on five carries. The Knights downed the Corsairs 34-25. Saxon Schultz, another former Warrior, had one catch for four yards for Shasta. Shasta improved to 2-3 for the year while Redwoods fell to 0-5. |
