Local fighter Eugene Abasolo recently won a mixed martial arts cage fight at the Blue Lake Casino in Humboldt County.Abasolo, a member of the Fighting Gym Rats, won in a unanimous decision against a fighter from San Francisco on Sept. 26. The Fighting Gym Rats will be fighting on Oct. 24 at Cher-Ae Heights Casino in Trinidad. Anyone interested in joining the group can call Ron Otremba at 460-0235. |
