Here are excerpts from the Del Norte County Sheriff’s Office  call logs for Oct. 22-28.

Thursday, Oct. 22

• At 7:39 a.m. a laptop stolen from a vehicle on the 200 block of Barker Street.

• At 3:06 p.m. an assault at Madison and Elk Valley roads.

• At 4:44 p.m. a truck broken into and mailbox vandalized in front of a home on the 3000 block of Lower Lake Road.

• At 5:11 p.m. a child bitten by a dog on the 2200 block of Harmony Lane.

• At 7:28 p.m. a male attempting to kick in a door of a home on the 100 block of North Indian Road in Smith River.

• At 9:40 p.m. keys stolen out of a vehicle on the 700 block of Endert Street.

• At 10:08 p.m. a female with a knife reportedly chasing a male and attempting to steal a vehicle on Hill Road.

• At 11:19 p.m. assault on the 120 block of Miracle Lane.

Friday, Oct. 23

• At 6:42 a.m. a two-vehicle accident on the 16000 block of U.S. Highway 101 in Klamath.

• At 12:29 p.m. a locked vehicle broken into at the Hiouchi Trail at U.S. Highway 199 and 197.

• At 2:58 p.m. a pocketbook stolen from a locked home on the 300 block of Ashford Road in Hiouchi.

• At 5:27 p.m. Redwood Hostel on the 14400 block of U.S. Highway 101 in Klamath requested extra patrol due to recent robberies or attempted robberies.

Saturday, Oct. 24

• At 4:41 a.m. a person heard someone attempting to break into a home on the 600 block of McNamara.

• At 11:02 a.m. rabbits and chickens were reportedly killed inside the garage of an apartment at Seawood Village East on the 1300 block of West Washington Boulevard.

• At 4:56 p.m. a woman reported males pursued her after she fired one shot in the air to scare them away on the 600 block of Terwer Riffle Road in Klamath.

• At 5:25 p.m. juveniles reported tearing out vegetables in the garden at Bess Maxwell School, 1124 El Dorado.

• At 9:56 p.m. a man reported a neighbor’s dog attacked him, injuring his arm and throat at Ship Ashore Resort on the 12400 block of U.S. Hwy. 101 in Smith River.

• At 11:37 p.m. a fire reported in a field next to a home on the 2200 block of Sunrise Avenue.

• At 11:45 p.m. a male reported brandishing a gun and then possibly firing a shot, and then a woman grabbing the barrel at Country Club Bar, 156 Klamath Blvd., Klamath.

Sunday, Oct. 25

• At 1:26 a.m. three subjects reported breaking windows out of a trailer and a vehicle on the 16400 block of U.S. Hwy. 101 in Klamath.

• At 9:25 a.m. items stolen from a vehicle on the 140 block of Murphy Avenue.

• At 10:09 a.m. a one-vehicle accident with head injuries on U.S. Highway 197, four miles from Smith River.

• At 1:28 p.m. a laptop, briefcase and leather shoulder bag stolen from a vehicle on the 1200 block of Murphy Avenue.

• At 5:49 p.m. a fight reported at Castle Rock Clinical, 1675 Northcrest Drive.

• At 10:55 p.m. a person reported someone had driven up to a home and rattled the door knob and attempted to get in on the 500 block of Fred Haight Drive in Smith River.

Monday, Oct. 26

• At 7:26 a.m. items stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 1500 block of El Monte.

• At 8:04 a.m. two pairs of binoculars stolen from a vehicle on the 1000 block of Lauff Avenue.

• At 2:20 p.m. domestic violence reported on the 1000 block of Scenic Creek Drive.

• At 3:32 p.m. a person reported finding ‘Your (you’re) next’ written in grease on a tractor on the 200 block of Beasly Road.

• At 4:13 p.m. a television reported stolen from a home on the 4100 block of U.S. Highway 169 in Klamath.

• At 4:15 p.m. a shop burglarized on property on the 1700 block of Boulder Avenue.

Tuesday, Oct. 27

• At 12:54 p.m. a man yelling at people at Washington and Northcrest Drive, while another male was attempting to get him into a truck.

• At 1:21 p.m. an iPod stolen from the 2700 block of Maher Avenue.

• At 4:43 p.m. golf clubs stolen from a carport at Ship Ashore Resort on the 12400 block of U.S. Highway 101 in Smith River.

• At 8:39 p.m. authorities responded to report of child abuse on the 100 block of Charlston.

• At 10:08 p.m. domestic violence reported on the 140 block of Klamath Boulevard in Klamath.

Wednesday, Oct. 28

• At 2:12 a.m. an intoxicated juvenile fighting with parents who were trying to stop her from leaving on the 100 block of Kristian Lane.

• At 7:28 a.m. items stolen from a vehicle on the 800 block of Sandmann Road.

• At 8:05 a.m. a Halloween costume and several other items stolen from a vehicle on the 100 block of Courtney Lane.

• At 8:13 a.m. a DVD player and several other items taken from a vehicle on the 150 block of Cooke Street.

• At 12:37 p.m. business keys and $50 in change and cash stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 2400 block of Morris Avenue.

• At 1:05 p.m. a home burglary on the 2700 block of Alder Road.

• At 1:42 p.m. a vehicle versus a fire hydrant at Lexington and Bethesda streets.

• At 5:07 p.m. an assault on the 1900 block of Northcrest Drive.

• At 6:59 p.m. Pelican Bay requested an ambulance for an inmate with stab wounds.

Thursday, Oct. 22

• At 3:51 p.m. a camera stolen from a home on the 1000 block of Pacific Avenue.

• At 10:05 p.m. vehicle hit and run reported at Fred Endert Municipal Pool.

Friday, Oct. 23

• At 11:56 a pitbull chasing two people on the 500 block of West Condor Street.

• At 7 p.m. a man was heard yelling for police on the 100 block of Becky Court. A 47-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

Saturday, Oct. 24

• Between 7:44 and 8 p.m. transients were removed from the Crescent City Cemetery and the 900 block of Sunrise Avenue and advised of the city “no-camping” ordinance.

Sunday, Oct. 25

• At 7:20 a.m. an extra police patrol was requested on Eighth and H streets due to recent burglaries.

• At 10:20 p.m. police apprehended a 33-year-old man who allegedly paid for one San Francisco Chronicle paper near Rite Aid in the U.S. Hwy. 101 shopping center and took several without paying.

• Between 2 and 3 p.m. police conducted a minor decoy operation in order to apprehend adults who furnish alcohol to minors at 11 stores in Crescent City. A 29-year-old male employee of Discount Liquors was the only person cited on suspicion of selling alcohol to a minor.

• At 9:50 p.m. a person attempting to break into a home on the 1100 block of Marshall Street.

Monday, Oct. 26

• At 12:35 a.m. a wallet stolen from a vehicle on the 300 block of M Street.

• At 2:50 p.m. police assisted the Sheriff’s Office with a fight at Wal-Mart.

• At 6:30 p.m. an extra patrol was requested on the 1000 block of A Street due to a recent burglary attempt.

• At 8:30 p.m. a fight near the U.S. Highway 101 shopping center.

Tuesday, Oct. 27

• At 12:37 p.m. a bag containing 70 Oxycontin and $31 stolen from a vehicle at Grocery Outlet on the 1100 block of Third Street.

• At 10:02 p.m. police responded to a man slumped over in his vehicle at Ninth and Pebble Beach. He was taken to Sutter Coast Hospital.

Wednesday, Oct. 28

• At 4:18 a.m. a bike stolen from the 1100 block of Huntington Street.

• At 11:25 p.m. police arrested a 34-year-old male employee of Grocery Outlet at the store on the 1100 block of Third Street on suspicion of burglary, grand theft and embezzlement.
