Obituary: Theresa A. Ogier (May 21, 1956 - Oct. 25, 2009)

Theresa moved to the Rogue Valley in 1982 and then to Crescent City in 1985, only to return to the Rogue Valley in 1989.  She married Raymond R. Ogier, Jr. in Reno, Nev., on Nov­ember 11, 2002.  She has enjoyed playing softball, riding the Harley with her husband, watching all sports, especially the Dodgers, coaching and watching her grandkids play baseball and spending as much time as possible with her grandchildren and the rest of the family.

Theresa is survived by her husband, Raymond R. Ogier, Jr.; daughters, Kristi Carson of Medford and Bobbi Jo Ogier of Medford; sons, Joshua Polk of Beaverton, Ore., Michael Ogier, Daniel Ogier, and Darrel Ogier of Red Bluff, Calif.; sisters, Mary Mills and Kathleen Rawlings; brothers, John and Thomas Kinney; 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild on the way in December. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Kinney, Helen Allen and stepfather, Gene Allen. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 31, at Harvest Time Fellowship in Gold Hill.  Memorial con-tributions can be made to the Cancer Society. In honor of Theresa, attendees of the memorial are asked to come dressed in their favorite sports attire.
