Obituary: Loyette Bartow Tulee (Oct. 3, 1961- Nov. 3, 2009)
Loyette Bartow Tulee Oct. 3, 1961 - Nov. 3, 2009 Loyette Bartow Tulee, 48, of Toppenish, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2009, at Yakima Regional Hospital. She was born October 3, 1961 to Fred "Sr" and Mary (Winton) Bartow in Crescent City. Loyette graduated from high school, then attended a beauty school. She worked as a beautician for a number of years. She learned to drive trucks from her brother-in-law and changed careers to become a truck driver. She was driving a truck for Yakama Forest Products. Loyette is loved and will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her Mother and Father and a brother, Benjamin Bartow. Loyette is survived by her husband, Francis Tulee of Toppenish, four sons, Fredrick Bartow, Juan, Michael and David Campos of McMinnville, Ore., and one brother, Fred "Jr" (Cheryl) Bartow of Vancouver, Wash. Dressing service will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at Merritt Funeral Home, Wapato, followed by an overnight stay at the Tulee family home in Toppenish. We will depart from the family home at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 5th, for an overnight stay at the 1910 Shaker Church, White Swan. We will be leaving the 1910 Shaker Church, 9:00 a.m., Friday, November 6th for overnight service at the Smith River Shaker Church, Smith River. Services will be held at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, November 7th at the Smith River Shaker Church. Burial will follow at the Howonquet Cemetery. Merritt Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
