Here are excerpts from the Del Norte County Sheriff’s Office call logs for Nov. 5–11. Thursday, Nov. 5 • At 7:38 a.m. a garage possibly burglarized and a window damaged at a home on the 12500 block of Mouth of the Smith River Road in Smith River. • From 7:40 to 10:01 a.m. multiple vehicles reported burglarized on the 1200 block of Harrold Street. • At 2:06 p.m. burglary in progress on the 400 block of U.S. Highway 169 in Klamath. • At 2:34 p.m. a home burglarized on the 200 block of Snag Road in Fort Dick. Friday, Nov. 6 • At 8:24 a.m. a two-vehicle accident on the 1700 block of El Monte Road. • At 10:26 a.m. possible stolen property from a vehicle recovered on the 1900 block of Morehead Rd. • At 4:22 p.m. two dogs stolen from a kennel on the 500 block of Meridian. • At 4:25 p.m. two-vehicle accident at a Blue Star Gas propane tank field at Lauff and Meridian. A car collided with a fence near one of the tanks, but there were no leaks, fire officials said. • At 8:19 p.m. a male reportedly punched in the face and a full beer thrown at him on the 100 block of Deshon Drive. Saturday, Nov. 7 • At 2:54 a.m. a female reported a suspicious male had entered her home on the 400 block of West Macken Avenue. • At 9:18 a.m. possible stolen property located on the 150 block of Deshon Drive. • At 12:24 p.m. a bag with possible entrails inside located at Dead Lake north of Crescent City. • At 2:29 p.m. a bicycle stolen from Wal-Mart’s bike rack on the 900 block of East Washington Boulevard. • At 3:50 p.m. a subject seen looking into and under vehicles in Sutter Coast Hospital’s parking lot. • At 4 p.m. a home burglarized and ransacked on the 6400 block of Low Divide Road. • At 7:03 p.m. an extra patrol requested on the 1300 block of Douglas due to recent thefts. Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009 • At 8:06 a.m. a vehicle ransacked and items stolen on the 1700 block of Alexandria. • At 10:16 a.m. a vehicle burglarized and items stolen at Railroad and Cummings. • At 12:47 p.m. a tire slashed on a vehicle on the 500 block of Pacific Avenue. • At 12:59 p.m. a vehicle stolen from the 500 block of Murphy Avenue. • At 1:09 p.m. a garage burglarized and many items stolen at a home on the 100 block of Embarcadero. • At 2:42 p.m. a female assaulted by two males, reported from the 100 block of Ehler’s Way in Klamath. • At 3:18 p.m. mailboxes vandalized on the 700 block of Pacific Avenue. • At 5:36 p.m. a ring stolen from the 2400 block of Roy Avenue. • At 9:46 p.m. a resident on the 100 block of Martin Street released a dog that chased a prowler into the bushes. Monday, Nov. 9, 2009 • At 12:56 a.m. a prowler with a flashlight reported in a garage on the 960 block of Elk Valley Road. • At 1:14 a.m. a bear reported at Norris and Mathews streets. • At 8:46 a.m. a home broken into on the 2700 block of LeClair Avenue. • At 1:32 p.m. three females attempting to get into a vehicle at tow yard on the 1100 block of McNamara. • At 3:21 p.m. a male robbed by two suspects and jewelry taken from his neck on the 700 block of U.S. Hwy. 101. Tuesday, Nov. 10 • At 6:39 a.m. a prowler wearing a black jacket carrying a black bag reported going between two homes on the 2700 block of Roy Avenue after a suspicious vehicle driven through the area. • At 8:19 a.m. a purse stolen from the 2200 block of Harmony Lane. • At 9:42 a.m. domestic violence reported on the 700 block of Humboldt Road. • At 10:02 a.m. a home burglarized and three guns stolen on the 300 block of Kelly Street. • At 10:27 a.m. a vehicle stolen from a garage on the 100 block of Fern Lane. • At 10:59 a.m. a locked vehicle broken into, ransacked and items stolen on the 500 block of Pebble Beach Drive. • At 11:23 a.m. a male reported chasing a female with a vehicle during a domestic dispute on the 100 block of Irene Road. • At 12:54 p.m. a home burglarized on the 2200 block of Holben Road. • At 1:37 p.m. an air compressor stolen from a locked building on the 3200 block of Kings Valley Road. • At 4:26 p.m. a male reportedly beating a truck with a stick on the 2800 block of Bob White Lane. • At 4:39 p.m. a female reportedly bitten, kicked and punched by another female on the 13400 block of U.S. Hwy. 101. • At 6:28 p.m. a home burglarized and items stolen on the 300 block of Myrtle Lane. Wednesday, Nov. 11 • At 7:37 a.m. a chimney fire on the 6000 block of Southbank Road. • At 8:06 a.m. illegal camping reported at Our Daily Bread Ministries on the 1100 block of Harrold Street. • At 9:53 a.m. guns reported missing from a home on the 900 block of Sandman Road. • At 10:42 a.m. a vehicle broken into on the 1700 block of Northcrest Drive. • At 4:34 p.m. a person with bloody hands seen talking to himself while walking along Cooper Avenue. |
