Here are excerpts from the Del Norte County Sheriff’s Office  call logs for Nov. 12- 18.

Thursday, Nov. 12

• At 12:17 a.m. a padlock cut from a garage on the 2400 block of Alpaugh Avenue.

• At 7:18 a.m. a shed burglarized and a woodchipper stolen on the 150 Humboldt Road.

•At 10:58 a.m. item stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 2600 block of Quinlan.

• At 3:33 p.m. a home burglarized and tools stolen on the 1600 block of El Monte Road.

• At 3:53 p.m. burglary attempt at a storage shed on the 1300 block of Douglas Street.

Friday, Nov. 13

• At 1:10 a.m. report of an injured female domestic violence victim who barricaded herself in a home while a male suspect attempted to get in on the 200 block of West Harding.

• At 8:35 a.m. two unlocked vehicles entered and items stolen on the 180 block of Courtney Lane.

• At 9:24 a.m. four tires and wheels stolen off of vehicle on the 800 block of El Dorado.

• At 10:34 a.m. an unlocked vehicle entered; loose change, a flashlight and other items stolen on the 100 block of Courtney Lane.

• At 4:43 p.m. registration stolen from a vehicle on the 16400 block of U.S. Highway 101 in Klamath.

• At 5:07 p.m. a 12-year-old reportedly punched in the face by a man on the 200 block of Fred Haight Drive in Smith River.

• At 5:58 p.m. a male reportedly attacking a male and female with a knife on the 130 block of Salmon Avenue in Klamath.

• At 7:19 p.m. juveniles reportedly trespassing in vacant trailers on the 16400 block of U.S. Hwy. 101.

Saturday, Nov. 14

• At 8:08 a.m. a person said he had to shoot a bear and he did not have a hunting tag to do so and would like to talk to a game warden on the 400 block of Coulson Lane.

• At 2:54 p.m. a home burglarized on the 800 block of Elk Valley Road.

• At 8:14 p.m. a male reportedly holding a female down while another female beat her at a home on the 700 block of Reddy Avenue.

• At 9 p.m. a group of 20 juveniles reportedly causing a disturbance at the Del Norte County Fairgrounds parking lot on the 400 block of U.S. Hwy. 101.

Sunday, Nov. 15

• At 9 a.m. an Xbox video game system and a backpack full of games stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 300 block of Sleepy Hollow Road.

• At 8:17 p.m. reported domestic violence on the 2400 block of Alpaugh Avenue.

• At 11:17 p.m. a male breaking the windows out of a vehicle using metal tubing on the 1000 block of Scenic Creek Drive.

Monday, Nov. 16

• At 2:23 a.m. a vehicle struck a tree two miles from U.S. Highway 101 on U.S. Highway 199.

• At 5:01 a.m. an unlocked vehicle broken into on the 100 block of Burcham Lane.

• At 9:56 a.m. domestic violence on the 400 block of Gale Way.

• At 10:08 a.m. several computers reported stolen from Castle Rock Charter School.

• At 12:48 p.m. authorities responded to a reported sexual assault on the 260 block of National Boulevard.

• At 2:54 p.m. a chimney fire on the 300 block of Indian Road in Smith River.

Tuesday, Nov. 17

• At 7:33 p.m. wall heaters stolen from the 3700 block of Kings Valley Road.

• At 10:29 p.m. Ace Hardware on East Washington Boulevard broken into and vandalized.

• At 10:35 a.m. a video game console stolen from the 1300 block of Orville Street.

• At 11:50 a.m. a boat in distress reported at the Mouth of the Smith River.

• At 12:26 p.m. a van on fire at Cooper and U.S. Hwy. 101.

• At 12:59 p.m. a home burglarized, plumbing and wires vandalized and tools stolen on the 3400 block of Cunningham Lane.

• At 3:10 p.m. a home burglarized and property stolen on the 400 block of U.S. Highway 169 in Klamath.

• At 7:29 p.m. a female awoke to find a male in a home and the home ransacked on the 500 block of Del Norte Street. The male fled out the back door.

• At 9:25 p.m. a garage door bent back during a possible burglary attempt of a home on the 1600 block of El Monte Road.

• At 10:19 p.m. a male assaulted by another male on the 2300 block of Kyle Lane.

• At 10:39 p.m. three juveniles reported as walk-aways from Bar-O Boys Ranch on the 15000 block of U.S. Hwy. 101.

Wednesday, Nov. 18

• At 6:16 a.m. a garage burglarized and ransacked on the 2100 block of Holben Road.

• At 7:16 a.m. a construction site burglarized on the 1700 block of South Fork Road.

• At 8:34 a.m. a vehicle in the water at Kellogg Beach near Pacific Shores with no one inside.

• At 11:48 a.m. a home broken into and vandalized on the 2400 block of Howland Hill Road.

• At 2:26 p.m. a vehicle broken into and ransacked on the 500 block of Pacific Avenue.

• At 4:04 p.m. several subjects fighting and reportedly knocking over a fence on the 1300 block of Harrold Street.

• At 6:24 p.m. a male assaulted with a chain and possibly a pipe at Harrold and Coolidge streets.

Thursday, May 12

• At 12:25 a.m. a report of a man in a trench coat waving an automatic firearm at Ninth and H streets.

• At 2:50 p.m. a male reportedly threatened to rob a driver who refused to give him a ride on the 500 block of Pacific Avenue.

• At 3:30 p.m. a glass door broken out at a business on the 100 block of U.S. Hwy. 101.

• At 7:30 a.m. a vehicle vandalized on the 270 block of West Indra.

• At 1:48 p.m. a vehicle vandalized on the 240 block of Fourth Street.

• At 10:23 p.m. a prowler reportedly looking into windows and checking the door of the S Curves deli on the 1200 block of Front Street.

Friday, Nov. 13

• At 6:30 a.m. an iPod stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 700 block of E Street.

• At 1:54 p.m. a woman said the airbags of her 2001 two-door Mercury Cougar deployed for no reason and injured her on the 1100 block of A Street.

She was headed to Sutter Coast Hospital to have her injuries evaluated.

• At 10:05 p.m. two rings stolen worth $1,800 from the 1700 block of A Street.

Saturday, Nov. 14

• At 11:52 a.m. stolen property recovered from the 200 block of H Street turned out to be involved in two vehicle burglary cases from the Sheriff’s Office.

Sunday, Nov. 15

• At 3:35 a.m. police assisted the Sheriff’s Office with a burglary in progress at Hemlock and Pebble Beach Drive.

• At 12:52 p.m. stolen property found in a backpack located during a vehicle pullover on the 700 block of Tenth St.

• At 1 p.m. police dog located drug paraphernalia and scales in a vehicle at Tenth and G streets.

• At 9:33 p.m. police responded to a reported domestic assault on the 1000 block of Seventh Street and a 36-year-old female was arrested on suspicion of spousal battery.

Monday, Nov. 16

• At 11:30 a.m. a possible victim of a recent jewelry theft was interviewed on the 800 block of U.S. Hwy. 101.

• At 9:50 p.m. a suspicious male attempting to enter a vehicle in the U.S. Hwy. 101 shopping center.

Tuesday, Nov. 17

• At 4:10 a.m. a vehicle vandalized on the 500 block of Pacific Avenue.

• At 10:45 a.m. a burglary and theft were reported at a home on the 1300 block of Orville Drive.

• At 11:45 a.m. a vehicle fire at Cooper and U.S. Hwy. 101.

• At 8:12 p.m. police assisted the Sheriff’s Office with attempting to locate the suspects of a home-burglary at Del Norte and Childs streets.

Wednesday, Nov. 18

• At 11 a.m. a 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of willful harm to a child at a home on the 800 block of B Street after police responded to  a child abuse report at Joe Hamilton School.

• From 2:20 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. police interviewed people at various locations in regards Steven Ballard, 54, who was reported missing Nov. 9 from a home on the 700 block of A Street.

• At 8:15 p.m. the fuel line of a vehicle was cut on the 700 block of E Street.

• At 8:40 p.m. an 18-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of battery, theft and public intoxication at ShopSmart on the 900 block of Northcrest Drive.
