Thursday, Nov. 19 • At 2:36 a.m. pink paint sprayed on all windows of a home on the 700 Endert St. • At 7:54 a.m. a truck, several other vehicles and property spray painted “up and down” the 2500 block of Oliver Ave. • At 8:57 a.m. vehicle vandalized on the 1700 block of Northcrest Drive. • At 9:21 a.m. a streetlight spray painted yellow on the 700 block of Endert St. • At 10:47 a.m. a sprinkler and work benches stolen from the 100 block of Conner Way. • At 11:51 a.m. an iPod stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 600 block of Modoc. • At 2:05 p.m. a female seen looking into mailboxes at Whaleview and Pebble Beach Drive. • At 3:02 p.m. a vegetation fire at Pacific Shores. • At 6:06 p.m. two men reportedly attempting to steal a female’s car were run off by another male on the 400 block of Amador St. • At 9:02 p.m. a chimney fire on the 6400 block of Northbank Rd. Friday, Nov. 20 • At 9:16 a.m. several CDs and identification stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 860 block of Glenn St. • At 1:09 p.m. prowlers reportedly tampering with a window on the 1000 block of U.S. Highway 101. • At 1:29 p.m. a person assaulted by two subjects at U.S. Hwy. 101 and Fred Haight Drive in Smith River. • At 5:26 p.m. an iPod and Leatherman pocket-knife/tool combination stolen from a vehicle on the 1200 block of Sandmann. Saturday, Nov. 21 • At 5:30 a.m. a person witnessed breaking into a vehicle on the 900 block of Kern. • At 6:48 a.m. four unlocked vehicles entered and loose change stolen from the 6500 block of Kings Valley Rd. • At 10:40 a.m. a vehicle burglarized and ransacked and a jacket and Bluetooth headset stolen from the 1600 block of Bethesda Way. • At 10:50 a.m. a weed-eater stolen from the 300 block of East Denny in Smith River. • At 11:33 a.m. an MP3 player stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 1600 block of Bethesda Way. • At 12:14 p.m. two males reportedly just attempted to break into a shed on the 1100 block of McNamara Ave. • At 1:31 p.m. a CD player faceplate stolen from a car stereo in an unlocked vehicle on the 2400 block of Maher Ave. • At 2:33 p.m. two people were seen stealing large stacks of newspapers from the Triplicate box at the U.S. Post Office on the 750 block of Second St. • At 3:30 p.m. a laptop stolen from a home on the 280 block of Fresno St. • At 6:07 p.m. a male assaulted on the 1600 block of Riverside Rd. • At 9:31 p.m. a wallet containing $80 stolen from the 300 block of West Adams. Sunday, Nov. 22 • At 2:53 a.m. a male and a female reportedly broke into a home to assault a male on the 16000 block of U.S. Hwy. 101 in Klamath. • At 7:43 a.m. a vehicle broken into and several items stolen on the 100 block of Annandale. • At 1:56 p.m. a vehicle burglarized on the 850 block of Vipond Dr. • At 3:01 p.m. a female shot in the leg with a BB fired by a possible adult and a juvenile at Childs and Meridian streets. • At 3:46 p.m. a pig running loose in a mobile home park on the 1700 block of Northcrest Drive. • At 3:54 p.m. a vehicle burglarized at Eighth and J streets. • At 4:05 p.m. a GPS unit, CDs and an FM transmitter stolen from a locked vehicle on the 1400 block of Cessna St. • At 4:18 p.m. a GPS unit and tool set stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 1600 block of Northcrest Dr. • At 5:29 p.m. a tool box broken into and boots and five packs of cigarettes stolen on the 150 block of Clyde St. • At 6:22 p.m. a locked vehicle burglarized on the 140 block of Clyde St. • At 7:51 p.m. a male reportedly wielded a Taser in a threatening manner towards a clerk at 76 Gas Station on the 1500 block of Northcrest Drive after the female he was with attempted to use multiple credit cards to make a purchase, but each card was denied. • At 8:42 p.m. a male reportedly involved in a domestic violence incident on Nov. 21 returned to a home on the 9800 block of U.S. Hwy. 199 in Gasquet, fired a gun, which jammed, then wrecked stuff in the home and fled. • At 9:26 p.m. gasoline suspiciously poured around a home on the 700 block of Lauff Ave. • At 10:54 p.m. a female saw a male looking into a bedroom window, then a male who resided in the home chased the suspect out of their yard at a home on the 1300 block of Burtschell. Monday, Nov. 23 • At 1:49 p.m. an unlocked vehicle burglarized on the 1800 block of Alexandria Way. • At 2:46 p.m. a possible burglary in progress on the 100 block of Modoc St. • At 3:05 p.m. a filled propane tank stolen from the 700 block of Elk Valley Rd. • At 4:22 p.m. an unlocked vehicle burglarized and items stolen on the 1200 block of Harrold St. • At 4:42 p.m. a 750 watt car stereo amplifier stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 1700 block of Wildwood Ln. • At 9:05 p.m. a couple of bears going through trash cans on the 2800 block of Railroad Ave. Tuesday, Nov. 24 • At 9:58 a.m. officers investigated a willful harm to a child case on the 400 block of Fred Haight Drive in Smith River. • At 10:31 a.m. officers investigated a lewd and lascivious acts with a minor case on the 500 block of West Highland Avenue in Smith River. • At 10:50 a.m. a locked vehicle burglarized on the 6300 block of Kings Valley Rd. • At 11 a.m. a cellphone and medication stolen from an unlocked vehicle at Calaveras and Murphy streets. • At 11:44 a.m. landscaping plants stolen from the 1100 block of Dundas. • At 3:42 p.m. tools stolen from an unlocked shed on the 11900 block of Oceanview Drive in Smith River. • At 8:11 p.m. items stolen from an unlocked home that was also ransacked on the 2600 block of Quinlan Ave. • At 10:23 p.m. a prowler reportedly threw a bottle at a male who came to chase the person off the property at a home on the 700 block of Lauff Ave.
Thursday, Nov. 19 • At 1:30 a.m. a chain-link fence suspiciously cut at the vehicle storage area at Del Norte High School on the 1300 block of El Dorado. • At 12:30 a.m. a squatter reported in a vacant home on the 260 block of E St. • At 1:52 p.m. a squatter reported in a vacant home on the 150 block of Second St. • At 3:05 p.m. two males were advised to stay off the Crescent City Jetty during high wave warnings. • At 6:30 p.m. police responded to two males physically fighting on the 240 block of Eight Street, one male was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication. Friday, Nov. 20 • At 7:30 a.m. a two-vehicle accident at Ninth and H streets. • At 8 a.m. two vehicles vandalized on the 900 block of Pacific Ave. • At 9:38 a.m. a license plate stolen from a vehicle on the 500 block of U.S. Hwy. 101. • At 3:10 p.m. a person in a wheelchair was struck by a van in the parking lot of the U.S. Hwy. 101 shopping center. • At 7:15 p.m. two suspects attempted to steal from an unlocked vehicle on the 450 block of C St. • At 7:25 p.m. an iPod stolen from the 1300 block of California St. Saturday, Nov. 21 • At 3 a.m. an officer on patrol witnessed two people walking suspiciously “very fast” at Coolidge and Marshall. One of the two people, a female, was arrested on a felony warrant. • At 10:30 a.m. a handbag with drug paraphernalia found at Ray’s Foods in the U.S. Hwy. 101 shopping center. • At 1:15 p.m. police responded to two males physically fighting who were gone on arrival on the 900 block of Pacific Avenue but ended up arresting a male in the area on a felony warrant. • At 3:17 p.m. police responded for the possible rescue of two males who were at the end of the Crescent City Jetty with waves crashing over. The two made it back safely and were advised not to venture on the jetty. • At 3:45 p.m. the rear window broken out of a vehicle on the 1200 block of Oregon St. • At 5:30 p.m. jewelry stolen from a home on the 700 block of Ninth St. • At 10:20 p.m. change and cigarettes stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 300 block of Third St. Sunday, Nov. 22 • At 12:45 a.m. police responded to a physical fight on the 1200 block of Linnet Court. The two involved did not press charges. • At 9:40 a.m. police pulled over a vehicle on suspicion of speeding at Front and C streets. The driver was cited on suspicion of speeding but was arrested on suspicion of marijuana possession after a bag of marijuana and hashish was found in the vehicle. The female passenger was also arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana. • At 11:37 a.m. a vehicle was burglarized on the 140 block of Jackie St. • At 12:10 p.m. a vehicle broken into and the vehicle battery stolen on the 1200 block of California St. • Between 1 p.m. to 1:10 p.m. seven people were advised not to walk on the Crescent City Jetty during high wave warnings. • At 2:45 p.m. police assisted the Sheriff’s Office with a vehicle pullover at Meridian and Lauff. The police dog found a bag of marijuana and the male driver was placed under arrest on suspicion of marijuana possession. • At 10:45 p.m. police responded to a domestic violence on the 700 block of Tenth Street. Upon investigation a warrant was issued for the male suspect on suspicion of spousal battery, false imprisonment and willful harm to a child causing great bodily injury. Monday, Nov. 23 • At 7:45 p.m. extra patrols were requested on Eighth and H street due to recent burglaries. • At 2:45 p.m. a mailbox lock tampered with on the 900 block of Pacific Ave. • At 2:45 p.m. police released a police dog into a home during a possible burglary in progress the Sheriff’s Office was investigating on the 100 block of Modoc St. Tuesday, Nov. 24 • At 10 a.m. Sheriff’s Office advised police of a possible rape on the 1000 block of East Condor. • At 11:05 a.m. a home burglarized on the 1100 block of Third St. |
