Here are excerpts from the Del Norte County Sheriff’s Office  call logs for Dec. 31-Jan. 6.

Thursday, Dec. 31

• At 1:02 a.m. a female with knives threatening suicide on the 100 block of Martin Street.

• At 1:08 a.m. a group of prowlers banging on the outside walls of a home on the 7500 block of Baily Drive.

• At 10:43 a.m. several windows shot out of a home on the 370 block of Bertsch Avenue.

• At 2:39 p.m. a vehicle window broken out on the 640 block of Elk Valley Road.

• At 3:31 p.m. a home broken into on the 600 block of Bertsch Avenue.

• At 4:03 p.m. a check stolen from a home on the 300 block of West First Street in Smith River was cashed the same day.

• At 9:47 p.m. numerous shots heard north of the 15800 block of U.S. Highway 101 in Klamath.

• At 11:14 p.m. a male assaulting a female, then another male assaulting the first male, then the first male  breaking a vehicle window and fleeing on the 400 block of Gale Way.

Friday, Jan. 1

• At 12:56 a.m. a vehicle with windows broken out on the 1300 block of Harrold Street.

• At 1 a.m. a possible explosion heard on the 200 block of Salmon Harbor Road in Smith River.

• At 11:20 a.m. a van over the side of the road at U.S. Hwy. 101 and Requa Road in Klamath.

• At 11:48 a.m. containers with Christmas decorations stolen from the front porch of a home on the 200 block of Maiden Lane.

• At 5:05 p.m. two males and a female fighting and one subject swinging a stick at Murphy and Humboldt roads.

• At 10:07 p.m. a window broken out to a bathroom at a home on the 160 block of Fred Haight Drive in Smith River.

• At 10:32 p.m. a male assaulted on the 1600 block of Northcrest Drive.

Saturday, Jan. 2

• At 1:04 p.m. an office and outbuilding broken into and items stolen from Hastings Tree Nursery on North U.S. Hwy. 101.

• At 1:59 p.m. a man knocked on ground and his wallet stolen near Elk Valley Casino on Howland Hill Road.

• At 2:49 p.m. an inmate escaped Bar-O-Boys Ranch at 15005 U.S. Hwy. 199 and authorities were looking for him in the area.

• At 5:51 p.m. a male reportedly running around without pants at Northcrest Drive and Washington Boulevard.

• At 8:01 p.m. prowlers in a garage on the 160 block of Seaview Circle.

• At 8:48 p.m. a male assaulted and suspects still on scene on the 4200 block of U.S. Highway 169 in Klamath.

• At 8:57 p.m. a bike in a ditch and a male injured on the 200 block of Pike Street.

• At 9:01 p.m. two prowlers on a porch of a home with large sticks on the 100 block of Salmon Avenue in Klamath.

• At 11:11 p.m. extra patrol requested due to break-ins on the 700 block of Endert Street.

Sunday, Jan. 3

• At 2:47 a.m. a person reported confronting two prowlers in the front yard of a home on the 700 block of Endert Street. While on the phone, a possible struggle was heard, the phone  went dead and on call-back a busy signal was heard.

• At 2:53 p.m. two prowlers with flashlights got into a vehicle and drove away after a patrol car drove by on the 500 block of Elk Valley Road.

• At 9:08 a.m. $400 stolen from the pocket of pants at a home on the 600 block of Elk Valley Road.

• At 9:39 a.m. a mailbox in the middle of the street and the porch light broken out of a home on the 800 block of Hamilton Avenue.

• At 10:11 a.m. an 8-year-old with a facial injury at the Del Norte County Fairgrounds on the 400 block of U.S. Hwy. 101.

• At 11:30 a.m. a bike stolen from the 50 block of Middle Fork Road in Gasquet and a home broken into on the 4700 block of Siskiyou Street in Fort Dick.

• At 12:43 p.m. a male kicked in face at Wal-Mart on East Washington Boulevard.

• At 2:44 p.m. two males fighting at Keller and Kern.

• At 3:04 p.m. a person reported confronting a suspect who broke into a vehicle and the suspect being chased by the owner in another vehicle on the 1400 block of P.J. Murphy Memorial Drive in Klamath.

• At 10:58 p.m. domestic violence reported on the 9600 block of U.S. Hwy. 101.

Monday, Jan. 4

• At 11:23 a.m. a two-vehicle accident at U.S. Hwy. 101 and Front Street.

• At 1:04 p.m. a dog shot with a shotgun by a person on the 900 block of Joshua Road.

• At 3:42 p.m. a person reported having video of a suspect stealing items from a front yard on the 400 block of Tsunami Lane.

• At 4:10 p.m. authorities were pursuing a suspect on the 100 block of Lopez Court in Smith River.

• At 5 p.m. five windows shot out with a BB gun on the 300 block of Pebble Beach Drive.

• At 5:31 p.m. a car broken into at Sutter Coast Hospital on East Washington Boulevard.

• At 7:17 p.m. a female assaulted at Parkway and Tsunami roads.

• At 9:50 p.m. a burglary in progress at Arbor Glen Trailer Park at 16400 U.S. Hwy. 101 in Klamath.

• At 10:10 p.m. a vehicle in a ditch at Howland Hill and Elk Valley roads.

Tuesday, Jan. 5

• At 2:53 a.m. a vehicle drove through a fence and the driver fled on the 1800 block of Northcrest Drive.

• At 6:06 a.m. a truck broken into on the 1900 block of Northcrest Drive.

• At 6:58 a.m. a rollover accident at U.S. Hwy. 101 and Hunter Creek Road in Klamath.

• At 7:22 a.m. a car stolen from the 1600 block of El Monte Street.

• At 8:46 a.m. a male reported he had been possibly sexually assaulted on the 1600 block of Parkway Drive.

• At 9:26 a.m. a trailer tire slashed on the 250 block of Barker Street.

• At 9:56 a.m. a truck stolen from the 1900 block of Northcrest Drive.

• At 10:36 a.m. a Sutter Coast patient reported being assaulted on the 1600 block of Northcrest Drive.

• At 11:11 a.m. all tires slashed on a van parked at Cornerstone Assembly of God Church on Douglas Street.

• At 12:34 p.m. property vandalized at Bailey and Lower Lake roads.

• At 1:34 p.m. a credit card stolen from a customer at Wal-Mart.

• At 3:55 p.m. a male broke a vehicle windshield with a skateboard on the 500 block of Keller Avenue.

• At 10:08 p.m. a trailer on fire at Pacific Shores.

• At 10:34 p.m. a man reported missing from the 100 block of Douglas Park Drive in Hiouchi.

Wednesday, Jan. 6

• At 7:34 a.m. a male reported he was assaulted by three suspects at his home, who also slashed the tires of his vehicle on the 12700 block of Mouth of the Smith River Road in Smith River.

• At 8:56 a.m. a stainless-steel sink stolen from a job site at the Union 76 Gas Station on Northcrest Drive.

• At 1:43 p.m. money stolen from a wallet on the 16400 block of U.S. Hwy. 101 in Klamath.

• At 3:15 p.m. a yellow two-person kayak stolen from the 14000 block of Ocean View Drive in Smith River.

• At 4:55 p.m. a prowler in a home on the 1000 block of Lauff Avenue.

• At 6:31 p.m. a vehicle in a ditch on the 9800 block of U.S. Hwy. 199 in Gasquet.

Thursday, Dec. 31

From 12:50 a.m. and 1 a.m. police responded to two females fighting on the 700 block of Ninth Street. One was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication. At 1 a.m. police responded to a 911 call at the same address for a report of domestic violence. A female was arrested on suspicion of willful infliction of corporal injury to a spouse.

• At 5:16 p.m. a vehicle accident at Fifth and H streets.

Friday, Jan. 1

• At 12:12 a.m. a juvenile was arrested and taken to Juvenile Hall on suspicion of a probation violation on the 1400 block of Anzio Street.

• At 1:01 a.m. a male said he had been detained on the 100 block of E Street by two people wearing dark clothing and was dropped off south of Crescent City.

• At 1:30 a.m. police responded to a child abuse report on the 1600 block of Gainard Street.

• At 1:33 a.m. police responded to drug activity at Crescent City Cinemas in the U.S. Highway 101 shopping center. A juvenile was arrested on suspicion of possessing under 1 ounce of marijuana.

• At 8:45 a.m. police responded to a reported domestic violence on the 190 block of Fifth Street. A warrant was issued for the 24-year-old male suspect who was arrested on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury at 5:50 p.m.

• At 6:25 p.m. items stolen from a home on the 800 block of C Street.

• At 7:47 p.m. police assisted the Sheriff’s Office with a vandalism in progress report on the 700 block of Washington Boulevard.

Saturday, Jan. 2

• At 4 a.m. a large section of street lights reported blacked out along A Street from Ninth to Condor streets.

• At 7:30 a.m. police responded to a call for a dead person on the 600 block of C Street. No foul play suspected, but a female on scene was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and possessing an opium pipe.

• At 10:45 a.m. a purse stolen from a shopping cart at the U.S. Highway 101 shopping center.

• At 5:40 p.m. the computer room broken into and a computer and radios stolen from Crescent Elk Middle School on the 900 block of G Street.

• At 8:46 p.m. police responded to a domestic violence call on the 200 block of Eighth Street and arrested a male on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse.

Sunday, Jan. 3

• At 8:15 a.m. item stolen from a home on the 1000 block of Huntington Street.

• At 9:30 a.m. a hole drilled in a gas tank of a vehicle parked at Harding and El Dorado streets.

• At 11:20 a.m. a traffic accident with injury on the 100 block of L Street.

• Between 1:50 and 3:38 p.m. police searched for suspects in the area of Third and O streets and at the end of Fifth and Third streets after a patient at Sutter Coast Hospital reported being jumped by suspects in those areas.

• At 3:40 p.m. a vehicle accident with no injuries at Fifth and L streets.

• At 4:30 p.m. police assisted the Sheriff’s Office with a suspect who fled in in the Smith River area.

• At 10:12 p.m. a male was arrested on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a cohabitant on the  700 block of E Street.

• At 11:45 p.m. police responded to call of a male running in and out of traffic near the U.S. Hwy. 101 shopping center. A male was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication and vandalism.

Tuesday, Jan. 5

• At 3:02 a.m. police assisted the Sheriff’s Office with a driver who fled at Northcrest Drive and Washington Boulevard.

• At 3:54 p.m. police responded to a domestic violence in a vehicle at Front and G streets.

Wednesday, Jan. 6

• At 1:20 p.m. a meth pipe and marijuana found in a vehicle during a police dog search at Northcrest Drive and Hoover streets.

• At 4:55 p.m. a vehicle accident at Ninth and L streets.

• At 6:20 p.m. police responded to an assault at the U.S. Hwy. 101 shopping center and a 45-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication, assault and battery.

• At 7:05 p.m. police responded to a domestic violence call on the 600 block of H Street and arrested a female on suspicion of spousal battery.
