• Thomas Leo McCoy, 79, died Jan. 31, 2010, in Crescent City. He was born Dec. 29, 1930, in Montrose, S.D., and was a 50-year resident of Del Norte County.

Christian Burial Services will be held at Wier’s Mortuary Chapel on Feb. 11 at 2 p.m., with interment to follow at the Del Norte County Veteran’s Cemetery. Arrangements by Wier’s Mortuary Chapel of Crescent City.

• Marvin “Bill” Lewis Neal, 71, died Feb. 2, 2010, in Crescent City. He was born June 30, 1938, in San Francisco, and was a 58-year resident of Del Norte County.
