Obituaries: Juelan Marie Anderson (May 27, 1965 - Mar. 13, 2010) |
Juelan Marie Anderson passed away after a prolonged battle with brain cancer. Juelan was born on May 27, 1965 in Crescent City. She graduated from Del Norte High School, College of the Redwoods and received a Bachelor of Arts degree with distinction from Sonoma State College. Juelan was also a Past Honored Queen of Job’s Daughters Bethel 182, Crescent City. Juelan was a former employee of Roger Hogan Stained Glass Studio in Crescent City. Juelan was preceded in death by her great grandparents Robert and Julia Biehl, her grandparents Gustav and Elizabeth Klotz and Samuel and Regina Anderson, uncles Paul and John Klotz and Leon Anderson and aunt Madeline Wiebke. Juelan is survived by her parents Robert and Dian Anderson, uncle Karl (Linda) Klotz, Rolf (Linda) Klotz and Mark Klotz all of Crescent City, uncle Harley Anderson of Salem, Ore., and aunt Juelann Greulich of Kensington, Calif. Juelan is also survived by aunts Pearl Wiebke, Grace Marshall, Ione Jones, Joyce Sprecher and Jean Brown. Juelan is also survived by many beloved cousins and by her loving extended family of Roger and Cindy Hogan and their family. There will be a recitation of the Rosary at Wier’s Mortuary Chapel on Friday March 19, 2010 at 7 p.m. and a celebration of Mass will take place on March 20, 2010, at noon, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Crescent City. A fellowship gathering will take place immediately following church services at Hogan’s Rose of Sharon Bed and Breakfast, 1020 Blackwell Road Crescent City. Juelan requested that donations in her memory would be made to American Cancer Society Relay for Life, 1301 Northcrest Drive, Crescent City, Community Assistance League of Crescent City, 415 Hwy 101 South, Crescent City, or the charity of your choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Wier’s Mortuary Chapel of Crescent City. |
