The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will be holding its "Financial Basics" workshop tonight from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at 225 H St.
The workshop is free and includes free materials and handouts. It is one of four in the Business Basics Workshop Series.
It's designed for individuals and entrepreneurs in the planning stage of their business and people who own existing businesses, but may not have an understanding of financial record-keeping for profitability.
The workshop will cover:
Pricing your product or service.
Determining your company's break even point.
How to create basic financial documents (income statement, balance sheet, tracking cash flow).
Business banking basics.
Importance of sound bookkeeping.
A case study will be used to learn how to put the tips into practice. There will also be a question and answer session at the end of the workshop. Seating is limited, please call 464-2168 to register.
