Pacific Power and the Salvation Army are asking residents for donations to supplement their annual Project HELP partnership.
Donation envelopes will be included in February electricity bills and again in June. The project aims to helps some Northern California residents pay for electricity this winter.
The Salvation Army receives the donations and distributes the money. Last year, more than California 280 residents benefited from the program.
