Drivers heading into Oregon during the next week may experience traffic delays due to road construction.
The Oregon Department of Transportation is working on the following projects through Friday:
U.S. Hwy. 101 between milepost 274.57 and 275.95 expect single-lane closures as work on manholes and piping continues on the east side of the highway. Night construction will be ongoing between 9:30 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. daily.
At milepost 253 a slide repair project will close a left-turn lane at Beaver Hill Road. Two lanes of traffic will remain open.
At milepost 238.96 expect lane closures from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on varying days as work to rebuild signals continues.
Between milepost 352.28 and 357.87 from Lone Ranch Beach to Chetco River Bridge minor corrective work will necessitate some single-lane closures in Brookings.
Between milepost 350.39 to 350.80 the Cape Ferrelo slide repair project continues to close the southbound slow lane. No delays are expected during the day, but both southbound lanes are closed from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. as night work continues. Expect flaggers 24/7 and 10-minute delays.
U.S. Hwy. 199 at Laurel, workers are doing a bridge replacement and highway widening. watch for flaggers and expect single lane traffic during the day.
Interstate 5 at milepost 57 is narrowed to single lanes in each direction until Memorial Day as work begins on a bundle of bridges that replace the Beacon Drive bridge, and repairs are ongoing to six others between Grants Pass and Wolf Creek.
Between milepost 58-82 shoulders will be closed, and occasionally south-and north-bound lanes will be closed. Watch for flaggers.
I-5's South Medford Interchange Exit 27, workers continue utility work on the east side of Hwy. 199 between Charlotte Ann and Stewart. Watch for northbound slow lane closure. The speed limit is 35 mph for the duration of the project.
At Exit 30 North Medford Interchange workers are doing landscaping and other finish work.
