DA dismisses sex crime charges

A local man arrested on suspicion of sex-related crimes last week has had his case dismissed. The District Attorney’s Office had filed a single child abuse charge, but later dismissed it, against Aaron N. Jones, after he was arrested on suspicion of several sex-related crimes including sex with a minor.
The sex charges weren’t filed, and a child abuse charge was dismissed after the District Attorney’s Office deemed there was insufficient evidence, said Deputy District Attorney Annamarie Padilla. |
