Man drowns after he rolls his truck

A man drowned in the Klamath River on Thursday after his truck rolled down a steep hill and he was ejected, said California Highway Patrol Sgt. Rick Thoma.

The body of Albert Webster, 48, of Klamath, was found by Yurok Tribal Police on the river embankment south of Highway 169 about one mile east of Highway 101, authorities said.

Webster's truck did not go into the river, but it appears he was ejected from it, Thoma said.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
