Here are excerpts from the Crescent City Police Department call logs for Dec. 2–Dec. 6. Friday, Dec. 2 • At 12:38 a.m. a report of possible shots near the 700 block of E Street. • At 8:15 a.m. a school administrator reported a subject on the property who was previously asked not to be there on the 1000 block of E Street. • At 7:00 p.m. a report of people knocking on door and fleeing on the 600 block of 8th Street. • At 8:00 p.m. a report of a stolen backpack from the wooded area north of Ray’s Food Place. Saturday, Dec. 3 • At 1:14 a.m. a report of two possible prowlers on the 1200 block of Jaccard Street. • At 10:40 a.m. a report of a car tire being slashed during the night on the 800 block of Taylor Street. • At 3:05 p.m. a report of an assault at Del Norte High School. • At 10:50 p.m. a man reported a suspicious person near his trailer on the 100 block of Elk Valley Road. Sunday, Dec. 4 • At 2:40 a.m. police pursued a car after its driver would not pull over for a traffic stop on the 300 block of U.S. Highway 101. • At 11:20 a.m. a cement dog stolen from the front yard of a residence on the 100 block of 5th Street. • At 12:35 a.m. an engine falling out of the back of a trailer on U.S. Highway 101. • At 4:45 p.m. a report of arson involving a cemetery sign. Monday, Dec. 05 • At 4:30 a.m. a woman reported somebody banging on her door on the 700 block of E Street. • At 9:45 a.m. a report of threats made to an employee of a business on the 800 block of Northcrest Drive. • At 12:40 p.m. a report of a dog left abandoned and tied to a tree on the 1000 block of Play Street. • At 4:40 p.m. a report of an unwanted patron refusing to leave McDonald’s. Tuesday, Dec. 06 • At 7:46 a.m. a woman reported her vehicle was vandalized during the night on the 300 block of 9th Street. • At 9:35 a.m. a report of an irate customer leaving two vulgar messages on the answering machine of a business on the 100 block of Williams Drive. |
