The Crescent City intersection at Second and B streets is closed through Tuesday as construction crews get ready to lay 300 feet of sewer pipe.
The closure is part of the city’s Second Street sewer replacement project, which started in November. Motorists are asked to use detours available at 3rd Street and A Street.
Second Street between B and F streets will remained closed through next month, according to a city press release. Workers expect to have the pipe in the ground by mid-January, Public Works Director Eric Wier said.
