WET, WILD FUN THIS SUMMER AT POOL

Those wishing to spend a soaking wet summer at the Fred Endert Municipal Pool will have many opportunities to do so in the coming months.

Swimming lessons will be offered on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at half-hour intervals between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Fees for each two week session are $20 for children six and older and $25 for children between three and five years of age.

The next open session begins July 17. A second session begins July 31 and a third on Aug. 14.

There are also evening sessions, held Tuesday and Thursday between 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

The next session begins July 11. The final session begins Aug. 1.

Adult swimming classes are held Mondays at 7 p.m.

The pool will be closed July 15-16 for the Crescent City Swim Club Invitational Swim Meet.

The pool will open at 1 p.m., Aug. 27, following the Crescent City Triathlon, which begins at 9 a.m.

Admission to the pool is $2 for children and senior citizens, and $2.50 for adults.
