• Belva “Bev” Dice, 69, passed away Aug. 25, 2009, in Crescent City. The 16-year resident of Del Norte County was born Sept. 3, 1939, in South Dakota.
Memorial services were held Thursday at Wier’s Mortuary Chapel of Crescent City. • Calvin C. Wayne, 70, died Aug. 17, 2009, in Crescent City. The eight-year resident of Del Norte County was born in Detroit. • Jean Hanke, 98, died Aug. 13, 2009, in Crescent City. She was born Aug. 11, 1911, in Chicago and was a 64-year resident of Del Norte County. Memorial services will be held at the Masonic Lodge, 250 9th St., Crescent City, on Saturday at 1 p.m. Arrangements by Wier's Mortuary Chapel of Crescent City. • Frank Dewaine Coleman, 75, died Aug. 21, 2009, in Gasquet. He was born Aug, 19, 1934, in Davenport, Wash., and was a 50-year resident of Del Norte County. The family requests contributions be made to the Gasquet Fire Department, P.O. Box 85, Gasquet, CA 95543. Memorial services will be held at the Gasquet Fire Department on Sept. 5 at 3 p.m. Private interment has taken place at the Del Norte County Veteran’s Cemetery. Arrangements by Wier’s Mortuary Chapel of Crescent City. |
