• Brooke Ruyle, 26, died Sept. 29, 2009, in Crescent City. She was born July 26, 1983, and was a life-long resident of Del Norte County.

Funeral services will be held at the Foursquare Gospel Church on Saturday at 10 a.m. with private interment at the Smith River District Cemetery. Arrangements by Wier’s Mortuary Chapel of Crescent City.

• James Dale Proctor, Sr., 83, died Sept, 29, 2009, in Klamath. He was born Feb. 25, 1926, in Metah, Calif., and was a 10-year resident of Del Norte County.
