• Richard Machado Nunes, 73, died April 9, 2012, in Crescent City. A life-long resident of Del Norte County, he was born Aug. 25, 1938, in Crescent City.

Celebration of life services are pending and a full obituary will appear at a later date. Arrangements by Wier’s Mortuary Chapel of Crescent City.

• Angela B. Pomilia, 92, died April 9, 2012, in Crescent City. She was born Feb. 22, 1920, in Monterey, Calif., and was a five-year resident of Del Norte County.

Mass of Christian burial will be at The Italian Cemetery, 540 F St., Colma, Calif., on Monday at 1:30 p.m.
