• Leonard Keith Nielsen, 79, died April 4, 2011, in Crescent City. A life-long resident of Del Norte County, he was born May 19, 1931.

A full obituary will appear at a later date announcing celebration of life services. Arrangements by Wier’s Mortuary Chapel of Crescent City.

• Dennis Marvin King, 50, of Standish, Calif., died March 19, 2011, in Medford, Ore. He was born Aug. 16, 1960, in Medford, and was a resident of Del Norte County from 1999 to 2004

A June memorial is planned on South Beach.
