• Darvin Ervin Davis III, 25, died March 1, 2012, in Crescent City. Born on Jan. 14, 1987, in Crescent City, he was a lifelong resident of Del Norte County.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at Wier’s Mortuary Chapel. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Wier’s Mortuary Chapel. Interment will be 11 a.m. Sunday at the family plot at Ti-Bar, Calif.

Arrangements are under the direction of Wier’s Mortuary Chapel of Crescent City.

• Grace “Gracie” Marie Bolen, 69, died Feb. 27, 2012. She was born Oct. 6, 1942, in Battle Mountain, Nev., and lived most of her life in Del Norte County.

A pot luck Celebration of Life service will be held from 11 a.m.  to 2 p.m. on Sunday at the Fort Dick Grange. Private interment will take place at the IOOF Memorial Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Wier’s Mortuary Chapel of Crescent City.

• Karen Kay Claussen, 66, died March 5, 2012, in Crescent City. She was born Dec. 22, 1945, in Tucumcari, N.M. Karen was a 20-year resident of Del Norte County.

Private services will be held.  Arrangements are under the direction of Wier s Mortuary Chapel.
