• Lorene Joyce Rose, 70, died Oct. 22, 2011, in Crescent City. She was born Dec. 9, 1940, in San Francisco, and was a 30-year resident of Del Norte County.

Graveside services were held Wednesday. Arrangements by Wier’s Mortuary Chapel of Crescent City.

• Clair A. Hyatt, 82, died Nov. 1, 2011, in Crescent City. He was born Jan. 16, 1929, in Washington, and was a 20-year resident of Del Norte County. Private services will be held. Arrangements by Wier’s Mortuary Chapel.
