Angela Joy Hall was born on May 24, 1992, to Bryan and Tina Hall in Walnut Creek, Calif. Angela went to be with the Angels on Sunday, March 27, 2011. She had always been our “Angel Girl,” now she is our Angel of Joy. Angela attended schools in Concord, Calif., and Boise, Idaho. In the short time that she graced this world, Angela was planning on going to the College of the Redwoods where she was going to major in Early Childhood education. She loved children and wanted to spend her life teaching them. Angela also loved animals, especially her cat, Mary Jane. She took her cat with her on her travels from California to Idaho and then returned home to Smith River.
Angela was a sweet, beautiful young woman, like a soft new rose bud,
she was plucked from us before the rose had fully bloomed. Angela
enjoyed singing, listening to music and especially spending time out
with her younger brother Dylan. She volunteered at the Howonquet Elder
Nutrition program in Smith River and was also a tribal member of the
Smith River Rancheria.
Angela is survived by her mother, Tina Whipple-Hall of Smith River;
father, Bryan Hall of Boise, Idaho, younger brother, Dylan Hall of Smith
River; sister, Lindsay Mae Hall of Livermore, Calif., Buddy Bowen, her
mother’s boyfriend of Smith River, and Angela’s boyfriend, Anton of
Boise, Idaho. She also has numerous aunts, uncles, cousins.
She will be remembered and loved by all who knew her.
Family services will be held at the Old Guschu Hall, corner of Mouth
of Smith River Road and Ocean View Drive in Smith River, on Friday at 12
p.m. Fellowship will follow services at the Howonquet Indian Community
Hall in Smith River.
