Barbara B. Griswold, died Sept. 28, 2011, after succumbing to cancer.

Born April 11, 1932, in Leyland W. Va., Barbara went on to graduate with a Doctorate in Psychology from the University of California at Berkeley. She practiced psychology in West Virginia and in Illinois, eventually retiring to California and living in Smith River for the last nine years.

She is survived by her daughter Terry L. Adamik and husband Frank A. Adamik, currently living in Washington, and by her grandson, USAF 2nd Lt Frank Ray Adamik, currently attending pilot school in Del Rio, Texas.

Arrangements are under the direction of Wier’s Mortuary Chapel.
