Bobby Criteser went to be with the Lord on November 21, 2009. Born on November 11, 1929, in Springfield, Oregon, Bobby moved to Crescent City with his family when he was two months old, and he was a life long resident of Del Norte County.

Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Patricia; daught-ers and spouses, Kathleen and Raoul Silva and Teresa and Chris Hegnes; son and spouse, Timothy and Becky Criteser; grandchildren, Travis and Jennifer Silva, Wyatt and Shea Hegnes, Chris and Raven Criteser; great-grandchildren, Ayden and Trenton Silva; sister, Edna Mattz and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Criteser; mother, Elsie Brown; stepfather, Leo Brown; brother, Raymond Criteser; sister, Evelyn Blagden; stepbrother, William Brown and stepsister, Leora Gnos.

A special thanks to Sutter Coast ICU unit, lab and staff for the kind and considerate care and to our “Tile Rummy Buddies” Jerry & Donna Barland.

At Bobby’s request, no services will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Wier’s Mortuary Chapel of Crescent City.
