Connie was raised in Glenns Ferry, Idaho, where she graduated from high school in 1963. She briefly attended the Boise Junior College Nursing program before marrying her husband of 18 years, Robert C. Harmon. Together they had two children, Cindy and Randy.
They lived in Crescent City before moving to Spokane, Wash., in 1976 where Connie was employed by Holy Family Hospital. Connie moved to Pocatello to be closer to her family after her children graduated from school. She was just five weeks away from a much-anticipated retirement after working numerous years at Portneuf Medical Center as an Indigent Services Specialist.
Always one to enjoy traveling, she was proud to say that she had made it to all 50 states by the time she was 50. She also enjoyed her annual trip to Mazatlan, Mexico, with an ever-growing group of family and friends.
Connie is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Andy) Gustavsen and their children, Evan Anne, Tanner, and Calen of Boise, Idaho, son Randy (Heather) Harmon of North Bend, Wash., sisters Gloria Hansen of Boise, Edie (Scott) Crump-Richardson of Pocatello, and brother-in-law Jim Hutson of Baltimore, and sister-in-law Diane Hansen of Pocatello.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings Sharon Hutson and Ray Hansen.
Her memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church, 408 N. Arthur Ave., Pocatello, Idaho.
