After a valiant fight, Diane lost her battle with cancer and organ failure on June 20, 2011. As a child, she traveled to Wales, Alaska. Her father was there for scientific research, and Diane enjoyed childhood in a small Native Village. As she got a little older, she even worked on some fishing boats!
Throughout her life, Diane faced and met many challenges. But her biggest love was for her husband, and kids … then her granddaughter.
After retirement, Diane and Tim came to Crescent City and fell in
love with it! They had lots of friends and extended family. Diane
volunteered at CAN, and her extended family grew. She spent much time
tending her garden and enjoying both the Smith River and the beach.
She will be sorely missed by all!
Diane leaves to remember her rich life: Timothy T. McCullough
(husband), Betty Brown (mother), Steven and Jennifer (children), Emily
(granddaughter), Brad Brown (brother) and Teri V. Markanson and sons
Forest and Jordan (friends).
Celebration of Life in late summer, early fall. Watch for ad.
