Obituaries: Eduardo Cerros Jaramillo (Aug. 12, 1968 – July 4, 2011) |
Eduardo Cerros Jaramillo, 42, passed away suddenly on July 4, 2011, in a drowning accident on the Smith River. He was born on August 12, 1968, in Sombrerete Zacatecas, Mexico. A resident of Del Norte County for 20 years, he was employed as a farm worker in Smith River most of his life and for the past four years, he was employed by Palmer Westbrook, Inc. Eduardo will be remembered as a very friendly, happy and cheerful person. He had many friends throughout the community, people were drawn to his sociable being. Spending time around him was always a given. He will be remembered for his smile and always being willing to help anyone in need. Eduardo loved dancing and music. He enjoyed spending time with his family and close friends. Eduardo will be greatly missed by his many family and friends. Survivors include his wife America B. Valencia, children Alejandra, Cruz, Leslie Cerros, mother Maria Cruz Jaramillo, siblings Leticia, Christina, Maricela, Elvira, Patricia, Margarita, Rosario, Jose, Bernabe, Enrique. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held at Wier’s Mortuary Chapel on Thursday, July 7, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial services starting at 3 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church Interment will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Crescent City.
