Eino William Wilson, 95, died Aug. 19, 2008, in Klamath Falls, Ore. He was born on June 29, 1913, to Waino and Maria Wilson in Cloquet, Minn.
He grew up in Herbster, Wisc., and started his career as a commercial fisherman on Lake Superior. He married Rosie Puig in Port Wing, Wisc., on March 18, 1939. They moved to Crescent City in 1944 where he continued in commercial fishing.
For the last three years they have lived in Klamath Falls to be close to their daughter.
At his request there will be no services.
Eino will be remembered as a man who loved his family and playing cards.
He is survived by his wife; son William Wilson of Crescent City; daughter and son-in-law Linda and Keith Thorp of Klamath Falls; grandchildren Angela Wallin and her husband Gary, Eric Wilson, Patricia Wilson, and Kevin Wilson; sister Lila Roman; brother Leo Wilson and his wife Alice; nieces and nephews Margaret Schille, Leonard (Bud) Wilson, Myrtle Urban, Lee Wilson, Gail Jacobs Harrison, William Roman and Ernest Lee Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Ernest and Leonard Wilson.
